Directions

  1. Mix eggs and sugar together until smooth
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients
  3. Using a rolling pin flatten the dough quite thinly
  4. Cut into small rectangular pieces (or alternatively you can make larger “cakes”)
  5. Optionally for an added effect you can curl the edges inside
  6. Bake at 200C until golden brown

  • egg yolks, 5
  • baking powder, 16g
  • double cream, half a small pot
  • self raising flour, half a kilo
  • butter, 250g
  • sugar, half a glass
